2013 Horse Fun Day Camp
It's not too early - we've already planned our 2013 sessions!!!
Please see our 2013 schedule below....
GENERAL CAMP INFO:
Each session runs for one week, Monday - Friday, from 9am to 2pm daily. Participants will have the opportunity to make new friends, have fun, learn all about horses, and participate in a variety of activites. This is not a riding only camp - this is an all around horsemanship camp, geared towards full horse education blended with one on one daily riding lessons. Participants learn a variety of skills and information interacting on the grounds of a working equine riding and training facility. They learn about diet, horse history, breed information, health and injury care, grooming, bathing, handling and leading, different types of riding styles, view demos by advanced riders, learn how to tack, and more! Activities will vary from session to session but will include crafts, games, daily interaction with hands on education involving horses, and daily riding lessons under saddle!
Cost per session: $250 per child
Space is limited for more one-on-one attention and hands on experience for the participants, so please book early to reserve your spot! Registration forms must be received 2 weeks prior to the start of the week of your choice...though the earlier the better to increase your odds of getting the week you prefer...
All participants must wear closed toe shoes - sneakers are best! No sandals or flip-flops allowed in the barn at any time. Long pants are required for riding...we do have an area available for changing. Please pack a lunch/drink Monday thru Thursday, on Friday we will supply a pizza / koolaid party.

Girl Scout Badge Clinics
Girl Scout Juniors~
Come with your troop and earn your HORSE FAN badge!
There are 2 parts to earning the HORSE FAN badge. The 1st part must be completed by the participant prior to the clinic, and the 2nd part we will all complete together at the clinic.
A few weeks prior to the clinic, all girls will receive a booklet that will outline the badge requirements, provide a worksheet for the tasks they need to complete on their own or as a troop prior to the clinic, and list activities we will be doing during the clinic to complete the badge requirements.
This is a great opportunity for girls to get a hands-on experience with friendly horses in an informative and educational environment.
Clinics will be scheduled, as needed, on Saturdays.
They start at 1:00pm, and will take approx 2 hours to complete.
The cost per participant is $40 and there is a 6 girl minimim per clinic,
with a $100 non-refundable deposit from the troop required 2 weeks prior to the scheduled clinic date. Please contact Christina for Information or to schedule your troop's private clinic: 401-447-2349 or edingerfarm@comcast.net
